StevenLiChen.com is a personal blog that recounts the interest of Li Chen (known otherwise as Steven Lee, or stevenlichen in the cyberspace) who presently works as a student consultant (at the Institute of Online Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University, better known as BeiwaiOnline), a freelance English teacher, and an English-Chinese translator/interpreter.

Naturally, you can expect to find TESOL (Teaching English to Students of other Languages) related discussions on this site. Such arguments will go deeper when Li Chen pursues his MA TEFL in Department of Linguistics and English Language, Lancaster University in the fall of 2007.

As well, Li wishes to reveal his life in the UK as an overseas student — photos, reflections and videos will be abundant so please be sure to check back regularly.

Well, if you are interested in China, and willing to exchange ideas with Chinese people, YOU HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT PLACE! Stevenlichen and Martin Yau (a Hongkonger, former international business executive) host a weekly talk show within the BeiwaiOnline education system. The show aims to encourage free expression in English (an oral English practice session by nature); it has no set topic and welcomes friends from all over the globe.
